About Andalusite:
Andalusite is an often multi-toned brown mineral originally found in Spain. Stones are now mined around the world. Material forms at low pressures and low to high heat in the Earth's crust alongside "Kyanite" and "Sillimanite" stones.
A relatively hard mineral that is safe to be worn in rings, andalusite ranks 6.5 to 7.5 on the Mohs hardness scale. While andalusite jewelry is safe to use with most chemical jewelry cleaners, we suggest to be mindful when putting your andalusite into an ultrasonic cleaner.
